Art Club sparks students’ creativity by exploring two-dimensional and three-dimensional art, photography, and graphic design. Students are exposed to the nuances of each medium and have the opportunity to create and share their own creative designs. Crafts Club is a fun way for students to learn about making household objects into works of art. The activities are easy, thought provoking, and educational. Crafts explore themes such as culture, science, and math etc., through these crafts, students learn background information about each of the themes.
Gardening club provide a great way for kings students to learn about gardening and gain hands-on experience growing their own food, and tasting the fruits and vegetables of their labor.
The health club is a vehicle that empowers Kings Students to play an active role in deciding and implementing issues related to their health when they are in school. The Club also affords the students the opportunity to become ‘Agents of Change’ who carry home and translate into action healthy habits and information they learn at school and in this way influence their sibling, parents and friends who might be out of Kings school.
Math Club is a bunch of people getting together to play with math. The purpose of Math club is to develop students’ level of Math skills and knowledge. This will be accomplished by using games, activities and more competitions. Students will cooperatively work to complete logic and math puzzles. Math club enrich their skill with higher order thinking and prepare students for future Math competitions.
Quiz club aims in updating the children with the latest happenings and current affairs of the world. Teachers also prepare student for any competitions which involves quiz.
Philately club is one of the favorite clubs among the students. They show great interest in collecting various kinds of stamps from different countries. As the meaning of philately states, it is the study of postage stamps. Therefore, we do not just stop in collecting the stamps; rather try to study its history. Children are taught various things like the basic facts about postage stamps, history of its existence, rarest stamps of different countries, about Indian postal history etc. during the club activity. Children are also trained on the identification of the country of a particular stamp. Stamps are also distributed to the members during the club.
This club allows Kings Students to learn about and enjoy photography. Beginners and experts are welcome to explore the world of photography. The goal and purpose of the club is to involve students who have an interest in digital photography and show an appreciation for what photography can say. All students are welcome to join – experience in photography is NOT a requirement – just a desire to learn with a hands-on approach. Club members will be learning from each other and the students can express themselves through the lens of a camera.
While the acts of keeping the environment clean is done by Scout and Guide the Junior Red Cross teaches the students on how to provide medical services to those who are in need. The students are taught the fundamentals of providing medical services to people in poor and rural communities.
