“Pure drawing is an abstraction. Drawing and colour are not distinct, everything in nature is coloured”
Drawing enhances child’s motor skills from a young age. It improves their hand- to- eye coordination and fine tuning their finger muscles. It builds confidence besides improving handwriting skills.
Art department conducted drawing and colouring competition for the students of classes 1-5 on 25 -06-2022. Students of classes 1-3 were asked to “colour the printed pictures” by using colours of their choice. Students expressed their imaginative and creative skills and coloured the outline of the given pictures splendidly.
The topics given for the classes 4 th and 5th were “Nature landscape Art” and “Animals in a jungle” respectively.
Students’ unique talents were reflected in their drawings. Parents of our old students judged the competition.
