JUNIOR BLOCK

Diwali is a festival of lights & it symbolises the spiritual “victory of light over darkness, good over evil, and knowledge over ignorance. Kings Junior School of Matric campus organised a Diwali celebration programme on 21.10.2022 on its campus. All the students and teachers were very excited on that day. Our Junior School corridor was colourfully decorated with papers roof hangings of multiple types. Various visually captivating events were presented one after the other by students with great joy .It started with a prayer song at 9:30 and continued to 10.15 p.m. The special assembly was hosted by the students of classes III, IV & V. Students narrated the stories related to Diwali. All the mythological characters of the RAMAYANA were depicted on the stage. The special Diwali dance presented by the students of Class II to V, brought happiness and enjoyment to the audience. Besides, speeches were delivered by the students about the ill effects of crackers and shared the guidelines to celebrate Diwali with least pollution and noise.  Mr Anantha Sam, the Principal, in his Diwali address to the students, mesmerised the gathering with his words “Diwali is a festival of Lights” but “Children are the Light of the World “.  Mrs. Chandra, section Head of class 1-8 thanked all the staff members of Junior School, departments of Art and PE  for making this celebration a grant success. Finally, the programme ended with the National Anthem and Diwali day wishes to all the students and their family members

MIDDLE BLOCK

Diwali, the festival of lights that enlightens the hearts and minds of all, was celebrated in our school on 21.10.2022 at A.K.Hall. The beatification of A.K. Hall was marvellous which was illuminated with diyas for the occasion. A good number of students dressed up as various gods and goddesses beautified   the celebration.

The special assembly by the students of Class IX set the ball rolling for the Diwali celebrations to be followed in the school. It started with a solemn prayer to the almighty which was followed by school song.

 Speeches were delivered by the students about the significance of Diwali and why and how it is celebrated across India with great enthusiasm. Besides sensitising the students to the ill effects of crackers, they also shared various precautionary measures to follow to be safe while bursting crackers. The students demonstrated the spirit of Diwali through a mesmerising dance performance. Correspondent, Mr Navamani and Principal, Mr Anantha Sam delivered their Diwali wishes to the students and parents.   The special song on Diwali by the students was soul touching. The entire celebration was graceful, beautiful and enjoyable as students celebrated it with great spirit and happiness.
