CAREER-GUIDANCE REPORT OF CLASS 1O STUDENTS
“Take these nests of sparrows and save the endangered species, dear students”, said Mr ANBU VANNAN, the eminent guest-speaker who started the Career- Guidance session compassionately, here, for the class 10 students of both Matric and CBSE schools in the Burden Centre on Friday November, 2022 in the presence of both the principal and members of staff.
Addressing 102 students, class 10, he differentiated the meanings of heroes and super heroes, work, job and career, government jobs, private jobs and entrepreneurship, linguistic potentiality, analytical potentiality, logical potentiality, spatial potentiality, the society of real people and society of fake friends on social media, employer, and employee and so on.
Earlier, he underscored the significance of goal setting, self-discipline, self-motivation, self-belief, self-confidence, clean habits, smart-work, sincerity, loyalty, honest approach, course selection, multiple-career options, ethics, values and principles.
Later, for students, he offered valuable suggestions, tips, tricks, tools and advice to keep away and overcome from intoxicated things, negativity, inferiority complex, loss of self -control, suicidal thoughts and so on.
In the meantime, he highlighted the importance of students’ listening to the advice of teachers, following textbooks, exam kits, exam preparations, things to do after examinations, the connection between habits, hobbies, passions careers, success and so on.
With the objective of career guidance in the mind and with the aid of multiple slides, thoughts and words, he, Mr ANBUVAANAN, the principal and correspondent of DHANALAXMI HR.SEC, SCHOOL, also a great mentor, counselor and a scholar from Chennai, called upon the students to have big dreams, big goals and big mental pictures understanding diverse career options in Army, Navy, Air force, Paramilitary, UPSC, TNPSC, medicine, engineering and plethora of creative jobs in India and overseas. Further, his insightful talk on the massive growth and popularity of swiggy, red-bus, ubber and YouTube mesmerised the students and teachers alike.
In brief, exceptionally, authoritatively, emphatically, intellectually and meticulously, the invited guest speaker opened the eyes, ears, minds and hearts of students with his brilliant career guidance session that was filled with fun, vibrant interactions, thought provoking activities, unorthodox queries, followed by brilliant explanations and solutions at length and depth.
Finally, he made the students feel that it was a wonderful session that offered them a clear direction/redirection to go where they need to go in their careers and life with big dreams, strong positivity, vibrant motivation, resilience, fortitude, persistence, rare clarity unquenchable thirst, desire and indomitable spirit. The career guidance programme, undoubtedly, met the objective for why it was organised for the class 10 students at that juncture.
